What kind of birthday parties do you offer?

We offer a variety of packages for different budgets and interests. Please review our party packages for more information.

How do I reserve a party?

Submit our online party reservation form with the package type and any add-ons you'd like, and we'll get back to you to discuss availability within 24-48 hours.

What are your birthday parties like?

We believe that our birthday parties are the best around, and we strive to create magical memories for children. Families can choose farm parties, pony parties, train parties, inflatable parties, or a combination of any of the above! There is so much to do here that it is hard to have the time to experience everything! Our barn is a lovely structure that houses many of our animals, including our resident horses. On the main floor of the barn the children will be greeted with numerous animals in each stall that they can pet and/or feed carrots and lettuce to. In the large loft on the second floor, there are rope swings and hay bales to play on and a huge inflatable castle to jump on. Children especially love to drive the miniature tractors and jeeps, and explore our river area.

There are many animals to see all year round at Fox Hollow. In the Spring and early Summer we have barrels full of baby chicks, ducklings, and rabbits, all waiting to be held and loved. There are peacocks who roam the grounds and numerous chickens and turkeys who will eat right out of your child's hands.  Our sheep and pigs will nuzzle your friendly hands and our mini ponies will run and play with your children.

Whatever type of party you choose, you and your guests will have a wonderful time! And if you need to cancel your party, we'll provide a credit, or a refund if we are able to rebook the date.

Is my party private or will there be other parties going on at the same time as mine?

We never have more than two parties going on at the same time at Fox Hollow. With 5 acres to spread out over there is plenty of room for everyone. If your event is going on while another party is there, you will have your own private celebration area for cake and presents, etc.

Where do I set up the cake, etc.?

We have several locations on the farm that can serve as a party's "headquarters." You may indicate a preference, but please keep in mind that at Fox Hollow birthdays, guests tend to spread out for most of the party, so the location of the headquarters is not as important as it may be at other facilities.

What happens to our party if it rains?

The party goes on as usual! In our experience, having hosting hundreds of birthday parties at Fox Hollow, it's not the kids that mind playing in the rain, it's the adults! We'll set up your party headquarters in an indoor setting as needed, but you'll find that most of your guests will stay spread out and enjoy the entire farm at your party.

What kind of seating and decorations do you provide?

We have numerous tables and seating options which we'll choose from based on the type of party you book and how many guests are expected. We provide concessions for an additional fee, but you are also welcome to bring your own food items. Decorations are not offered, and you may bring them if you like, but most find it unnecessary.

What food do you offer?

We offer cotton candy, s'mores, popcorn, hot dogs, ice cream, and other items. See our list of Birthday Amenities for details.

What kind of hotdogs do you serve?

We only serve beef hotdogs, but you are welcome to bring other types (tofu, turkey, etc.) and we'll cook them for you.

Can I tour the property before I reserve it?

You're welcome to attend any of our public events (i.e. Open Farms), but we can't accommodate private tours.

Can I add pony rides to my party? How much time will each child get on the pony?

Pony rides are included in the Pony Madness and Where the Wild Things Are parties, so please choose one of those packages if you'd like pony rides at your party. Each child will get a full ride around our spacious outdoor ring or through our miniature forest, and since neither ponies nor children are usually deterred by rain, the rides will take place regardless of the weather.

Do I need to bring my own tablecloth?

Our outdoor patio tables don't need tablecloths, but if you'd like tablecloths for any of our standard 8 foot tables, please bring them yourself.

What time can I arrive to set up?

30 minutes prior to your party start time. Please do not arrive earlier, as we are often still making our own preparations, and please ask your guests not to arrive until the appointed time.
